Experience
I attended California State University where I acquired my bachelor's degree in ethnic studies. I also had a focus on Chicano studies. I graduated magna cum laude from California State University. Following my graduation, I went on and successfully completed the Spanish teacher's program. Currently, I hold my credentials to teach multiple subjects, particularly in grades kindergarten through twelfth. I have prior experience tutoring. For two consecutive summers, I taught migrant education. I also have been a sub teacher for a number of school districts. Along with this experience, I also have experience tutoring children in a private setting. I also am a professional caregiver. When I am not working or teaching, I can be found in the kitchen coming up with new and unique recipes. I thoroughly enjoy the art of cookery. I also love finding a great book and getting completely invested in it. As a matriarch of my own family, I truly understand how important it is to give back to the community and to those who are less fortunate. Because of this, I spend a lot of my free time volunteering my services to a variety of charities and organizations.
